Kenco Yard Management System

  • PHS was hired by Kenco Transportation to build a Yard Management System that would dramatically increase their efficiency. After preliminary meetings that fleshed out their concept and needs, we built a software solution from the ground up. This is the login page.
  • PHS created a new Gate Check In process that allows more information to be logged in from the time of a trucks arrival, as well as initiating a start time to track the duration of the visit.
  • With an easily navigated interface, the main Yard Management page allows Kenco management to immediately check the status of a truck in real-time.
  • By clicking on a category, adjustments can be made to the status of a truck and relayed directly to the warehouse staff.
  • As trucks leave the yard, they are logged into the Gate Check Out page. Data accumulated can now be used to refine Kenco's procedures and help further cost savings as efficiency is further improved.
  • This is a portion of the visual map of the yard that Kenco wanted displayed in their headquarters. A massive video screen provides a constantly updated overview of the status of the trucks.
